Care Instructions
- Water and Fertilizer
Your plant should be watered while it is developing by soaking the soil thoroughly so that the water drains out of the ‘drainage holes’ of the pots.
For each watering, a balanced fertilizer can be applied to the water. The quantities of nitrogen, phosphorous, and potassium in a balanced fertilizer are about equal.
- Light
Put your plant somewhere that gets plenty of light but not direct sunshine, especially if the weather is hot.
- Soil Mix
The soil should have excellent drainage. The best way to do this is to add sand and grit to the soil’s compost component. One-third dirt, one-third sand, and one-third grit are reasonable beginning ratios for the mix’s components.
- Repotting
Your plants should be repotted at least once a year. As a result, you can give them fresh soil, evaluate their root systems for abnormalities, and relocate them to larger pots if necessary.
