Top 5 Best New Streaming Movies to Watch This Weekend

New Streaming Movies

The first weekend of the summer month is typically a slow one at the box office. We’re in between blockbusters at the moment (Top Gun: Maverick and Jurassic World: Dominion). Fortunately, there are some worthwhile new streaming movies to keep an eye out for. The following are our top five picks for the weekend.

The Boys Season 3 (Prime Video)

The Boys, a highly mature superhero series, is returning this summer. According to actor Jack Quaid, “This season, I believe, is our greatest yet. Obviously, I’m biased, but this season is even worse than the others we’ve seen thus far. There are a bunch of those classic Boys messed up moments.” Indeed. Nothing less is acceptable. Season 3 will feature the “Herogasm” comic narrative, which is nothing less than a superhero orgy festival romp, according to showrunner Eric Kripke. This show will also include spin-offs. You should watch these new streaming movies.

Physical Season 2 (Apple TV+)

Physical is a flashback to the 1980s when everything was shallow, and it’s led by a perpetually in-flux Rose Byrne. Sheila Rubin, a miserable housewife who takes solace in covertly spending money on hotel rooms and fast food, is played by Byrne in the dark comedy. When she discovers aerobics, however, her perspective shifts. She sets out to make her fortune in the new business, armed with a talent for scheming.

Sheila narrates the show through her thoughts and is generally in a panic over some secret. Her naive husband is an ex-hippie who is now running for local politics, and she is the woman who is supporting him. Sheila is preoccupied, and the comedy revolves around her ambition. There are hits and misses in terms of satisfaction. But it’s a good time, guided by a deranged main character who wants to get wealthy. She’s only just getting started at the conclusion of Season 1, so the second season should be even better.

South Park: The Streaming Wars (Paramount+)

The latest episode of South Park is now available on Paramount+. The Streaming Wars isn’t a smear campaign against Netflix or Hulu. The title alludes to the Denver water supply, which is rapidly depleting, and the impending water limitations in South Park. Randy Marsh and Tegridy Farms will suffer as a result. Randy is generally wonderful in a crisis. Let’s not forget that Eric Cartman now works at a hot dog stand, which he despises.

Masterchef: Back to Win Season 12 (Hulu)

Masterchef is one of the best, yet many viewers are unaware of when it airs. The new season has just begun, and you can catch up on episodes on Hulu. Season 12’s first two episodes are now available. The show is a competition among America’s top home cooks, with judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Aarón Sanchez. It’s also a lot nicer than the rest of Ramsay’s episodes. Season 12 invites prior participants back for a second chance at the Masterchef trophy and a prize pool of $250,000.

Under the Banner of Heaven (FX on Hulu)

Under the Banner of Heaven has been airing on Hulu for over a month, but the show’s weekly release schedule isn’t helping it. It’s preferable to watch it all at once so you can keep track of all the characters and events. It is one of the best new streaming movies you should watch this weekend. There are now seven episodes available to watch online.

Under the Banner of Heaven, starring Andrew Garfield as a devout investigator is based on the true story of the killings of a Mormon woman and her baby daughter, as well as the investigation that followed. The series, however, is worth seeing because of the caliber of the performers. Garfield, who gave his best performance as a cop in 2009’s Red Riding, returns to the force and raises the bar. Gil Birmingham, Sam Worthington, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Wyatt Russell, Adelaide Clemens, and Rory Culkin are among the cast members.
