Disney makes motion pictures based primarily on standard attractions, along with: Forest journey and Haunted home. His best achievements, however, were the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, making the journey perhaps the highest-grossing collection of all time. It introduces new characters from the lore like Jack Sparrow while also taking the audience on a thrilling adventure across the seas.
5 Times ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Movies Have Referenced Disney Ride
Here are 5 times the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies reference Disney’s ride:
The Skeleton in Bed
During the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, guests pass through caves filled with skeletons and treasures. One scene features a skeleton lying on a bed among their treasures.
In Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) and Jack Sparrow stumble across the skeleton of Juan Ponce de Leon. The skeleton is sitting on the bed and the two pirates chat with the skeleton in the middle. The skeleton is modeled after the pirates on the voyage, with the bed also containing the skull and crossbones on the headboard.
Mr. Gibbs sleeping with pigs
Kevin McNally, who played Mr. Gibbs in #PiratesOfTheCaribbean, wants Johnny Depp to return as Captain Jack Sparrow, claiming "I think there was a general feeling that without Jack there is no Pirates franchise. And there’s probably a lot of truth in that.”https://t.co/oP75gMcHdn pic.twitter.com/hZYP52f3rx

Gibbs (Kevin McNally) in The Curse of the Black Pearl, he is sleeping in the mud with a pile of pigs. This is a reference to a scene from the trip where a drunken pirate is sleeping happily in the mud with pigs.
The pirate on the voyage has no name, but it can be seen that Mr Gibbs actually became a prominent character in the Pirates films. Sailing on the sea has definitely slept with pigs.
The dog with keys

One of the most iconic scenes from the trip involves a dog holding a key in front of a cell. The pirates in the cell are trying to lure him with bones to make him carry the key. The dog simply looked confused and continued to wag its tail.
In The Curse of the Black Pearl, Jack is kept in a cell for a short period of time. The cell next to him has a group of pirates trying to get a key from a dog. Jack tells the pirates “The dog will never going to move”, which is true of the trip as well as taking it as a joke.
“Dead Men Tell No Tales”
During Pirates of the Caribbean’s voyage, there’s a haunting echo throughout the caves of someone saying “Dead men tell no tales.” It’s an iconic line from the trip that you hear over and over in the movies.
It can also be heard in At World’s End. When Black Pearl’s crew passed through a waterfall, the screen turned black and the audience could hear the phrase as it was heard during the ride. It’s a famous line because it rings true but it also sounds like something that would be uttered by legendary pirates.

What everyone remembers most from the trip is the song “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me).” It is sung throughout the attraction by various pirates attacking the town. The song was originally written by George Bruns, a composer for Disney films, and Imagineer Xavier Atencio.
In The Curse of the Black Pearl, Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) and Jack sang this song while stranded on a deserted island. Jack also utters the line “Drink up, I love you, yo ho” at the end of the film. It is used in some way in every movie to pay homage to the classic attraction.
