Page Six revealed that the Fenty Beauty founder gives birth to her first child, a baby boy, with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky. Rihanna is officially a mom.
According to TMZ, the baby was born on May 13 in Los Angeles.
Page Six in late January confirmed Rihanna’s pregnancy by following images of the singer, 34, proudly exhibiting her baby bump while out walking with Rocky, 33, in Harlem.
Rihanna ignited pregnancy rumors while dining at Carbone a month before the big announcement, with a source telling us she was “very visibly drinking sparkling water and openly stroking her baby tummy.”
The singer of “Diamonds” appeared to try to disguise her pregnancy with giant jackets and baggy outfits. However, she soon began boldly showcasing her baby bump with her colorful maternity design.
She later acknowledged to Vogue in April that she refused to wear maternity clothes. I’m sorry — it’s too much fun to get dressed up. I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing.”
During a May 2021 interview with GQ, the “Everyday” rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, talked about one day becoming a father, saying, “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”
Rihanna, on the other hand, prophesied that she would be a “psycho mom.”
“I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be”. In March, she told Elle that she was “psycho about it.”
Since early 2020, Rihanna and the rapper have been dating. They made their relationship public in November of the same year.
Rocky cheated on Rihanna with Amina Muaddi, according to a Twitter user in April, but sources told Page Six at the time that the claims were incorrect.
Rocky was arrested the following month in connection with a shooting in November 2021. On April 20, he posted $550,000 bail.
Only two days later, the couple reportedly had a rave-themed baby shower.
