Donald Trump hits kid with baseball. What happens?

The video shows a kid asking the former president to sign his ball during a game between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros at Truist Park in Atlanta on October 31.

The boy then threw the baseball to Trump, who asked for a pen to sign it. After signing the ball, Trump tossed it into the crowd and apparently accidentally hit another kid in the head.

The boy was not hurt in the incident, but he could make some money as Trump-signed baseballs sell for thousands of dollars. TMZ Sports said in May 2020 that Trump’s autographed baseballs had sold for $2,000 to $3,000.

Clip Of Donald Trump Hits Kid With Baseball went viral online

The minute-and-a-half-long clip was posted by TikTok user loupastore27 with the caption “I got Mr. trumps autographs at the World Series”, where it has been viewed more than 869,700 times.

A shortened version of the video was also posted to Twitter by Republican attorney Ron Filipkowski, who resigned from the Florida state commission in protest at the home raid of former Health Department data scientist Rebekah Jones in December 2020.

The clip of Filipkowski’s pitching incident has since been viewed more than 229,400 times.

Some people praised the footage in the comments section under the original TikTok video.

“I’m a Biden supporter, but this is pretty wholesome,” wrote TikTok user Thaumi.

“I don’t like Donald Trump nor did I or would I vote for him, but that’s a cool experience and a cool thing to do no matter who you are,” added Jesse Dalton.

Other videos that went viral after Trump’s appearance at Game 4 of the World Series included one of the former First Lady Melania Trump appearing to flash a faint smile after looking at her husband in the stands and another in the crowd singing “Let’s go Brandon”—a new Republican slogan being chanted instead of “f**k Joe Biden” apparently, has also been sung at sporting events around the country in recent weeks.

Trump previously bragged about baseball skills

According to TMZ, no one was hurt – apart from maybe Trump’s ego.

Slate reported Trump had previously boasted about his baseball skills, writing in 2004: “I was supposed to be a pro baseball player. At the New York Military Academy, I was captain of the baseball team. I worked hard like everyone else, but I had good talent.”

The publication reported in a 2010 interview with MTV, former president again said: “I was supposed to be a professional baseball player,” this time adding a flourish: “Fortunately, I decided to go into real estate instead.”

Trump claimed again in 2013 that he was “said to be the best ball player in N.Y. State.”

Official ruling … error on the catch.
